We bought our first new car in anticipation of our larger family size. The two-door civic that has been across the country and back (including parts of Canada and Mexico) just wasn't going to work for installing a car seat! We aren't as young as we used to be. We always said that the next car we bought would be a hybrid, but weren't really sure if that would happen.
As it happens we were true to our word- we bought a nice new Prius. It is quite spacious and a delight to drive. I just love my commute to work now. I gave up riding the bus to work when I lost all my core muscles, gained a giant belly and learned that downtown bus commuters covet their seats. 30 minutes standing on a belly-to-belly bus isn't really pleasant.
This picture is already a couple of weeks old... The belly is getting bigger every day!!!
